Created in Topeka, Kansas by a grower known as “MrDank”, Golden Goat was brought to Colorado right as the medical cannabis scene began to develop, and made its way into a number of the first dispensaries in the state. Since then, it has become one of Colorado’s signature strains, known for its tantalizing lemon-grenadine aroma and flavor as well as its complex Sativa-dominant effects package. It was originally named after the Golden Goat Recycling plant in Topeka, more speficically the smell of a thousand different types of soda syrup fermenting in the hot sun — that sweet and funky quality comes through in a well-grown Goat. A fabulous medical variety, it has shown benefits with MS, RSD, depression, fatigue, and migraines.
The strain was created in Topeka, Kansas largely by accident when a male Hawaiian-Romulan pollinated MrDank’s freak Island Sweet Skunk mother. The best plant of the resulting seeds was named “Golden Goat” after the smell of Golden Goat Recycling machines in the dead of summer, when all the soda syrup smells would mingle in the hot sun.
Its light green and pink coloration recall its Hawaiian Sativa side while the aroma calls upon the ISS mother most directly
Incredibly sweet mentholated lemon zest and cherry grenadine smell that brings to mind both the ISS and Hawaiian sides of the lineage
Exactly like the smell, it has a complex mentholated sweet-sour-spicy tropical fruit flavor that lingers on the palate and perfumes the room with a spicy, incense-heavy Haze-like smoke
This strain exhibits heavy, potent Sativa effects that can be a little much for the anxiety-prone at times, with a racing heart, buzzing body, and near-frenzied thought patterns. For those who like racier Sativas, it will provide a wonderful creative and social boost, seemingly making it impossible to sit down at times. It’s a strain that works best on a sunny day with friends rather than a night home alone. The Romulan element adds a quality pain reduction and muscle tension relief element that seems to kick in most strongly later in the duration, making the body more able to keep up with the brain’s demands.
Takes after the Hawaiian Sativa side of the family structure-wise, growing tall and consuming a lot of root space in ideal conditions. It’s a branchy plant that grows best untopped, but liked judicious pruning of lower lateral stems to encourage top growth. The wispy structure fills out late in harvest, taking on a golden appearance as it gets closer to finish.

One of legendary breeder Soma’s most varied and geographically-diverse strains, Lavender strain (formerly known as Soma #10) is named for its common finishing color and also for its unique flowery-spice scent that brings to mind fragrant charas hashish.
Despite the plant’s Indica-dominant genotype, it grows tall and leggy and is very easy to manicure. Lavender is a very relaxing and mellow strain, making it easy to slip into early sleep with a high dosage. Great for evening relaxation leading into sleep as well as muscle pain and anxiety.
Trainwreck is a mind-bending hybrid with potent sativa effects that hit like a freight train. Mexican and Thai sativas were bred with Afghani indicas to produce this Northern California staple, passing on a sweet lemon and spicy pine aroma.
A relative to Hawaiian sativa strains, Maui lives up to its tropical reputation. The musky overtones for this easy sativa are complemented by its fruity aftertaste and floral aroma. Less uplifting than other sativas, Maui tends to be head heavy and delivers a slow cerebral sensation that becomes more prominent over time. Maui effects tend to be medium-long in duration, lasting over 2 hours for many users.
To create Jack Flash strain, Sensi Seeds started out with their Jack Herer’s gene pool and then crossed it with Super Skunk and Haze. Jack Flash offers an earthy citrus aroma, impressive yields, and the active cerebral legacy of her Jack Herer parent. This hybrid gets its name from its lightning-fast onset which may prove useful to patients needing immediate symptom relief.
Mother’s Milk strain, brought into existence by Sensi Seeds, is a 70% sativa-dominant strain with heavy Haze genetics. This Jack Herer cousin typically forms spear-shaped buds that carry more weight and density than your archetypal sativa. Its aroma is sweet and tangy with earthy undertones that provide a smooth, complex flavor profile.
The Blue Dream strain is one of cannabis’ most popular Sativa-dominant hybrids, first coming onto the scene in Northern California, then exploding nationwide as the proliferation of medical cannabis increased. The strain is a perfect example of a Sativa-Indica fusion — combining a selected Santa Cruz Haze mother with a DJ Short’s Blueberry F4 male made this a Sativa-dominant plant, but with the most desirable traits of the Blueberry father intact, including its sweet aroma and large, dense nug structure.
Light of Jah is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain whose name is often used interchangeably with Jack Herer, but may also refer to a Jack Herer and Afghani hybrid. This hybridized rendition still leans toward the sativa side with uplifting effects that fuel creativity and positive moods. Its flavor is a sweet combination of tropical fruit and hashy, pepperyspice.
As part of our commitment to high-quality product, our AA grade bud is generally downgraded from our AAA or AAAA bud. This means you get the same great product at lower prices because the nuggets are a little smaller.
Harlequin weed is a 75/25 sativa-dominant strain renowned for its reliable expression of CBD. A descendant of Colombian Gold, a Nepali indica, and Thai, and Swiss landrace strains, you can depend on Harlequin to provide clear-headed, alert sativa effects. Unlike most high-CBD strains, Harlequin almost always develops a CBD:THC ratio of 5:2, making this strain one of the most effective out there for treatment of pain and anxiety, as CBD counteracts THC’s paranoia while amplifying its painkilling properties. Flavors can range from earthy musk to sweet mango, but without a doubt, what draws crowds to Harlequin is its ability to relax without sedation, and to relieve without intoxication.
Along with Blueberry, the Flo lines are known as legendary breeder DJ Short’s best work. Though they share the same genetic pool (Afghani and two different Thai lines), they are quite different strains, with the Flo taking on the exotic aroma of the Purple Thai and the Blueberry taking on more of the Afghani sweetness.
The Flo line is a Sativa-dominant hybrid with an Indica base, meaning that it has uplifting mental effects and more sedative physical effects. A perfect choice for daytime relaxation without bleariness, Flo is maybe the most popular strain in the Colorado cannabis scene over the past 5 years.
A sister plant to our Deadman OG, this hybrid uses a different example of the Mandarin on the same Deadhead OG mother plant. The results are more citrusy and less OG than the Deadman, bringing more of the Mandarin to the party. The uplifting Mandarin takes control of the majority of effects, as this is not a sedative strain at all — this one is social, active, and great for daytime use.
THC: 17.82% LINEAGE: OG KUSH X WEST COAST SKUNK. AROMA: Banana bread with earthy undertones. EFFECT: Potent Indica affects that inducing sleep, relaxation, and sedation. Best for end of day. MEDICAL: Can aid insomnia, stress, restlessness, and pain.
This legendary West Coast strain crosses Ghost OG and Skunk Haze to create an indica-dominant hybrid that tastes and smells like a bushel of fresh bananas. Banana Kush tends to provide a mellow buzz alongside a relaxed sense of euphoria. A great choice when dealing with stress or depression, Banana Kush also helps stimulate your creative juices and can help you remain talkative in social settings.
